About Pulse Med
PulseMed is a physician-led clinical artificial intelligence company dedicated to developing safe, reliable, and clinically responsible AI communication tools for medical practices and healthcare organizations. Founded by Dr. Sonal Patel, MD, and Colton Manfre, MS, OMS-IV, PulseMed provides a clinical AI platform designed to support patient communication while maintaining physician oversight and accountability.
Built around physician-approved clinical protocols, auditable information sources, and defined safety boundaries, PulseMed prioritizes clinical accuracy, patient privacy, and responsible AI implementation. Its technology is designed to help medical practices expand patient access and streamline communication without compromising clinical judgment or established standards of care. Through its physician-centered approach, PulseMed seeks to advance the safe and effective integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare.
About Evaluating AI-Controlled Clinical Tools in Medical Practice
Evaluating and Testing AI-Controlled Clinical Tools in Medical Practice is a continuing medical education activity designed to strengthen physicians’ ability to critically evaluate the clinical accuracy, usability, safety, and ethical considerations of artificial intelligence (AI) tools used in healthcare. Through hands-on testing of an AI clinical tool or chatbot, participants will assess its performance in clinical decision-support and patient-facing scenarios, including the accuracy and reliability of medical information, identification of errors and hallucinations, relevance of clinical recommendations, and effectiveness of safety guardrails.
The activity emphasizes the evaluation of patient privacy and data security, human-centered communication, and the potential impact of AI tools on the patient-physician relationship. Participants will examine challenges associated with AI integration into clinical workflows, identify potential risks and limitations, and consider strategies for systematic validation, patient protection, and responsible implementation. Through structured evaluation, clinical reflection, and commitment-to-change assessments, learners will develop practical approaches to assessing AI technologies and making informed decisions about their safe and effective use in medical practice.
How Pinnacle Supported Pulse Med Through Joint Providership
Learn at Pinnacle partnered with PulseMed to support continuing medical education accreditation for Evaluating and Testing AI-Controlled Clinical Tools in Medical Practice, a CME activity designed to help physicians critically evaluate the accuracy, usability, safety, and ethical considerations of artificial intelligence in clinical settings. Through its joint providership model, Pinnacle supported the accreditation process, including educational planning, content review, faculty disclosures, conflict-of-interest management, and alignment with accreditation standards. Pinnacle also supported the development and administration of learner evaluations, educational outcome assessments, and CME certification, providing a framework for physicians to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ while gaining practical experience evaluating clinical AI tools. This collaboration allowed PulseMed to focus on advancing physician-led AI technology while Pinnacle supported the continuing education requirements and credit process.
