Dr. Amy Shah is a double board-certified MD in internal medicine and allergy/immunology, and a distinguished nutrition specialist dedicated to empowering individuals to "save themselves" through sustainable, science-backed wellness. Over more than a decade, she has built a world-renowned wellness education platform, authored bestselling books, and launched a suite of health products—all while championing less invasive, lifestyle-first approaches to better health.

Dr. Shah earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition, Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University, followed by an MD with distinction from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her postgraduate training spans Harvard and Columbia University hospitals, where she honed her expertise in allergy, immunology, gut and hormonal health.

As an expert at the intersection of Eastern and Western medicine, Dr. Shah’s clinical focus embraces gut-brain connection, hormone balance, inflammation reduction, intermittent fasting, and nutrition as foundational pillars of optimal health. She's widely featured across major media outlets—including Today Show, Good Morning America, Mel Robbins Podcast, and others—and has earned recognition as one of MindBodyGreen’s "Top 100 Women in Wellness to Watch."
