About Women’s Health Clinical Institute
Women’s Health Clinical Institute (WHCI) was founded by Mandy Colegrove, MSN, WHNP-BC, MSCP, to help nurse practitioners and physician assistants deliver confident, compassionate, evidence-based care to women across the lifespan.
After more than two decades caring for women as a registered nurse and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Colegrove recognized a persistent gap between rapidly evolving women’s health evidence and the practical support clinicians need in everyday practice. She created WHCI to make high-quality clinical education more accessible, relevant, and immediately useful for the healthcare professionals women rely on every day.
WHCI equips clinicians with current evidence, clear clinical frameworks, and practical tools while supporting the individualized judgment essential to high-quality women’s healthcare. Its educational approach spans women’s health across the lifespan, helping clinicians navigate complex and often nuanced areas of care with greater clarity and confidence.
At the heart of WHCI is a simple belief: when clinicians feel prepared, supported, and confident, women receive better care.
About Accredited Clinical Courses
The Women’s Health Clinical Institute offers a series of accredited, self-paced clinical courses designed to help nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other frontline clinicians translate current women’s health guidance into confident, practical care.
The curriculum focuses on common but often undertreated areas of women’s health, including genitourinary syndrome of menopause, menopausal hormone therapy, and testosterone therapy for women. Across the series, participants build skills in patient assessment, candidate selection, counseling, prescribing, informed consent, and structured follow-up.
What makes these activities especially valuable is their emphasis on real-world clinical application. Rather than presenting evidence in isolation, each course provides clear frameworks that support individualized decision-making and help clinicians navigate nuanced conversations with patients.
With self-paced access and a practical, evidence-based approach, the Women’s Health Clinical Institute equips healthcare professionals with tools they can use immediately to strengthen patient communication, improve prescribing confidence, and support more personalized care across menopause and sexual health.
