About Bautista Health Care, Inc

Bautista Health Care, Inc. is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving underserved communities throughout California’s Central Valley. Founded in 2000, the organization is grounded in a commitment to support, empowerment, and progress through accessible healthcare, community outreach, and education.

In addition to providing primary care services, Bautista Health Care invests in the next generation of healthcare professionals through hands-on learning, mentorship, and early exposure to careers in medicine. Students are given opportunities to learn alongside healthcare professionals and gain meaningful experience as they begin their professional journeys.

Bautista Health Care also extends its mission beyond the clinic through community initiatives, including health fairs and annual holiday toy drives in Fresno-area communities. Through its focus on community, medicine, and education, the organization works to strengthen both the health of the people it serves and the future healthcare workforce.

About The Medical Society of the United States and Mexico

The Medical Society of the United States and Mexico is a live, multi-day continuing education conference presented by Bautista Health Care, Inc. that brings healthcare professionals together to explore how medicine is practiced across the United States and Mexico.

Led by faculty with experience practicing and training in both countries, the activity examines differences in medical practice, communication, and cultural perspectives that can influence the care of migrant patients. Learners will explore how cultural and religious beliefs, traditional approaches to health, language barriers, and differing healthcare systems can shape patients’ expectations and experiences of care.

Through lectures, presentations, and cross-cultural perspectives, participants will strengthen their ability to recognize barriers, communicate more effectively, and provide culturally informed, patient-centered care to migrant populations.

Designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals serving communities with migrant workers, this conference offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from clinicians familiar with healthcare on both sides of the U.S.–Mexico border while earning continuing education credit.

How Pinnacle Supported Bautista Health Care, Inc Through Joint Providership

Learn at Pinnacle partnered with Bautista Health Care, Inc. to provide the accreditation infrastructure and compliance support needed to offer continuing education credit for its live, multi-day conference.

Pinnacle managed the accreditation framework from start to finish, including faculty and planner disclosures, conflict-of-interest review and mitigation, activity documentation, credit designation, and compliance with requirements across multiple accrediting bodies. Pinnacle also created and maintained the Activity Detail Page, supported learner credit claiming and certificate generation, and handled required reporting.

Through Pinnacle’s jointly accredited provider status, the activity was able to offer credit for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, physician associates, dentists, athletic trainers, and interprofessional healthcare teams without Bautista Health Care needing to build or maintain its own CE accreditation infrastructure.

This partnership allowed Bautista Health Care to focus on delivering meaningful education while Pinnacle managed the accreditation and compliance process behind the scenes.
