Dr. Charlotte Akor is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained pediatric eye surgeon. After calling Texas home for over a decade, she is thrilled to bring her expertise to the Corpus Christi community, where she lives with her supportive husband and two children.
Driven by a passion for helping children, Dr. Akor’s mission is clear: “I look into kids’ eyes so they can clearly see the future.” Her educational path began with a biology degree from Yale University, followed by a medical degree from West Virginia University. She completed her ophthalmology residency in Buffalo, NY, and advanced her training with a pediatric eye fellowship in Atlanta, GA.
During her career, she also dedicated a research year to ocular pathology at Emory University, further honing her skills in the field.
