Learn at Pinnacle Privacy Policy
Who we are and what this policy covers
Effective date: October 12, 2026
Pinnacle Conference, LLC ("Pinnacle", "we", "us") runs Learn at Pinnacle. We are a jointly accredited provider of continuing education (CE) for healthcare professionals. Our mailing address is 3575 Far West Blvd. #27711, Austin, TX 78731, USA.
This policy explains how we handle personal information about learners and website visitors. It covers:
our website, learnatpinnacle.com
our learning platform at ce.learnatpinnacle.com, including activity surveys, certificates and the CE Dashboard ("the LMS")
the Learn at Pinnacle app for iOS and Android
records of your completed activities that organizations we accredit ("partners") send us
If you completed a partner's activity on the partner's own website or app, the partner's privacy policy also covers what the partner collects.
Information we collect
We collect what you give us, what our systems record when you use them, and what partners send us about activities you completed.
When you use the LMS or app
Account and profile: name, email address, password, credentials (for example MD or RN), profession, preferred credit types, state and country. Your first survey completion creates an account for you.
Surveys and credit claims: the activity, sessions attended, how you attended, credit type and amount claimed, answers to evaluation questions, learning objectives achieved, reflections, post-test answers and scores, your attestation and submission dates. If you choose "save and finish later", we keep your draft and email you a link to resume.
Pharmacy credit: NABP e-Profile ID, date of birth (month and day) and whether you are a pharmacist or pharmacy technician. We need these to report pharmacy credit. Without them, we cannot upload your credit to CPE Monitor.
Certificates and transcripts we issue to you, and their status.
Marketing preference: whether you opted out of our emails.
App use: IP address, operating system, pages viewed and time spent in the app, and approximate location, which we use only to see what regions our users are in. If you use community features, we keep the messages, posts, photos or videos you share.
Support: what you tell us when you email us.
Please leave out patient details. Do not include names or other details that could identify a patient in reflections, survey comments or community posts.
When you visit our website
Cookies and analytics: our website platform sets cookies. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, from what kind of device and roughly where. We also use the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages you viewed so we can show ads to people who visited our site and measure those ads. See Cookies, analytics and advertising.
Forms: what you enter when you sign up for our newsletter, register for the Pinnacle Conference or buy a ticket. Squarespace Payments handles card details; we do not see full card numbers.
Accreditation inquiries: if you ask about accrediting your education, we collect your name, organization, email, phone, website and what you tell us about your education. The form sends this to our partner records system, hosted on Supabase in the US.
Learner data we receive from partners
Some partners run their activities, evaluations and certificates on their own platforms. Because we are the accredited provider, they send us records of learners who completed those activities so we can award, record and report the credit. Partners send these records as files or through a secure connection between their system and ours. Either way, the records go into the same systems, under the same rules, as records from our own LMS.
What a partner may send us:
Every completion: a learner identifier, such as name and email or an ID number the partner assigns, the activity ID, participation date, credit type and credit amount.
Pharmacy credit: NABP e-Profile ID, date of birth (month and day) and pharmacist or technician role.
Maintenance of Certification (MOC): name, date of birth, certifying board and board learner ID.
Evaluation: results of the standard evaluation questions, usually as totals. Some partners also send reflections per learner, or a yearly summary.
Certificates: where a partner asks us to issue certificates, your name, email and credentials.
We use these records to award, verify and report credit, keep the records accreditation requires, and report outcomes in total. We do not add you to our marketing emails from a partner's records.
The partner's own privacy policy covers what it collects on its platform.

| Show ads for our services on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited our website, and measure them | Pages viewed on our website, device and browser data, Meta cookie IDs |
We use personal information to run accredited education for you and the services around it.
We do not sell personal information. We do use the Meta Pixel to show ads for our services to people who visited our website. Some US state laws treat this as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out; see Cookies, analytics and advertising.
Automatic scoring. Post-tests are scored automatically against the pass mark set for the activity. You can retake a post-test, and you can ask us to review a result. We do not use AI to score your reflections or survey answers.
Accreditation reporting and sharing
We share learner information to award and report your credit, with the partner whose activity you completed, with our service providers, and where the law requires.
| Who receives it | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| ACCME, through its Program and Activity Reporting System (JA-PARS) | Activity details and learner totals. For MOC: your name, date of birth, certifying board and board learner ID | Jointly accredited providers must report every activity. MOC credit reaches your board through JA-PARS |
| Your ABMS member board | Your MOC completion, through JA-PARS | To record your MOC credit |
| NABP CPE Monitor | NABP e-Profile ID, date of birth (month and day), the activity number and participation date | ACPE requires us to upload pharmacy credit, within 60 days |
| Accreditors and credit bodies (Joint Accreditation, ACCME, ACPE, ANCC, and the bodies whose credit you claimed, such as APA, ASWB, AAPA, ADA CERP, ARBO/COPE, BOC and CDR) | Records for activities they sample, or for a learner whose credit they check | Audits and credit verification |
| The partner whose activity you completed | Summary figures; a list of learners with name, email, credentials and profession, credit type, hours awarded, claim status, submission dates and assessment score; and your individual evaluation answers and reflections. Not your date of birth or NABP e-Profile ID. Partners may not pass any of this to third parties. | The partner's record of who completed its activity and how it performed |
| Service providers | What each needs to provide its service | See Service providers |
| Courts, regulators, law enforcement | What the law requires | Legal duties, safety and fraud prevention |
| A buyer or successor | Records needed to continue the service | A merger, sale or reorganization of our business |
| Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) | Pages viewed on our website, device and browser data, and Meta cookie IDs, through the Meta Pixel. We do not send Meta your name or email. Meta uses this under its own privacy policy. | Advertising and measurement |
Sharing with partners. Sharing your name, email and the results listed above with the partner whose activity you completed is part of how we run accredited activities. It does not depend on your marketing choice, which covers only Pinnacle's own emails. Each partner sees only learners from its own activities.
Community features. Other app users can see your profile name, photo, credentials and profession, and what you post there.
Totals and de-identified data. We publish and share figures that do not identify you, such as learner numbers and evaluation results. We share them with accreditors and partners and use them on our website.
Your feedback and your credit. We do not publish your survey comments or reflections in a way that identifies you without asking you first. If an employer or licensing board asks us to confirm your credit, we do so only at your request, unless the law requires it.
No sharing with ineligible companies. Accreditation standards define an ineligible company as one whose main business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients, such as drug and device makers. We never give learner names or contact details to an ineligible company or its agents without your explicit consent.
State licensing boards. We do not report to state licensing boards. Use your certificate or transcript where a board asks for proof of CE.
Service providers
We use service providers to host, store, send and process information for us. For learners and website visitors, these are our website platform, LMS host, email and file storage, transactional email and analytics. Google also applies its own privacy policy to Analytics and Firebase data.
The providers are named at the end of this policy. We update that list when they change.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website platform uses cookies to run the site. We use Google Analytics on our website and Firebase in our app to see how they are used. We also use the Meta Pixel on our website for advertising. These tools collect information such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.
Google may collect information about your activity on our website and on other websites over time. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
Advertising and your opt-out. The Meta Pixel lets us show ads for our services on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited our website, and tells us whether those ads worked. Meta may also link your visit to your Meta account and use it under Meta's privacy policy. The pixel runs only on our public website, not in the LMS survey or the app.
You can opt out of this sharing in any of these ways:
Change your ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
Block third-party cookies in your browser.
Opting out does not affect your account, certificates or credit.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals. Our website does not change how it works when it receives them. Use the options above instead.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as accreditation rules or the law require. ACCME requires us to keep credit records for at least six years.
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Credit claims, certificates and transcripts, including records partners send us | At least six years after the activity |
| Pharmacy and MOC identifiers linked to those records | As long as the credit record |
| LMS and app account and profile | While your account is open |
| Survey drafts you never submitted | Six years |
| App community posts and messages | Until you delete them or close your account |
| Newsletter list | Until you unsubscribe. We keep your address on a do-not-email list so we honor that choice |
| Website and app analytics | Two months for data linked to a device; totals longer |
| Conference registrations and orders | Six years |
| Support emails | Six years |
| Accreditation inquiries that do not lead to a partnership | Six years |
When a period ends, we delete the information or remove anything that identifies you.
Your choices and rights
You can see, correct and delete your information, and stop our marketing emails. The main limit is credit records, which we keep for at least six years so accreditors can verify your credit.
Your profile: change your name, credentials and credit type in your CE Dashboard. Email us for other changes, such as a new email address.
Marketing emails: opt out on the survey or use the unsubscribe link in any email. This does not affect your certificates or the sharing described above. We will still send service emails, such as certificates, verification codes and account notices.
Deleting your account: open your profile or settings in the app and choose Delete account. You can also email info@learnatpinnacle.com from the address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account". You do not need the app to do this. We delete your information except credit records and the details needed to verify them, which we keep for the retention period. Download your certificates first, because you will lose access to your CE Dashboard.
Records a partner sent us: contact us, and the partner too, since it holds its own copy.
Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser.
Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, where it came from and who we shared it with. You can also ask us to correct or delete it. We will not treat you differently for asking.
We aim to respond within 30 days. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you can ask us to reconsider.
If you are in the UK or EU, you can also ask us to limit or stop certain uses, or to send your information to you in a portable format. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data protection authority.
How to ask
Email info@learnatpinnacle.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We will confirm your identity by email before acting. An authorized agent can ask for you with your written permission.
Where we process information
We are based in the United States, and we store and process your information in the US. Our LMS runs on Amazon Web Services in the US. If you use our services from outside the US, your information is transferred to the US.
Security
Our website, LMS and app use encrypted connections (HTTPS).
We limit access to personal information to the people who need it for their work.
Each partner sees only learners from its own activities.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for healthcare professionals. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Parents or guardians can contact us.
Changes to this policy
We will post any change here with a new effective date. Check this page from time to time.
