Passive Income MD was founded by Dr. Peter Kim, a California-based anesthesiologist who set out to create a more balanced and intentional life for himself and his family. In 2013, he began documenting his personal journey of exploring new ways to plan for the future and gain more flexibility in medicine. What started as a small blog soon grew into a supportive community of physicians across the country navigating similar questions about how to align their finances with their life goals.
Today, Passive Income MD exists to provide doctors with approachable resources, guidance, and encouragement around financial planning and wellbeing. By helping physicians think differently about how they can create stability, reduce stress, and open space for what matters most, Passive Income MD empowers them to live more fully both in and outside of medicine.
