Driven by their own experiences with healthcare discrimination and a lifelong commitment to justice in medicine, Dr. Crystal has built QueerCME to challenge the traditional, cis- and heteronormative structures of medical education. Their mission is to ensure that all patients - regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation—receive care that is safe, respectful, and rooted in dignity.

Grounded in lived experience, emerging research, and practical clinical strategies, the course explores how common healthcare systems and assumptions may unintentionally create obstacles for Autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent clients. Participants are guided through actionable ways to improve communication, reduce barriers to access, and create more supportive care environments.

Grounded in emerging evidence and inclusive care principles, this activity equips learners to navigate the intersection of menopause, gender-affirming hormone therapy, and personalized treatment planning with greater confidence and clinical nuance.

Through practical guidance and reflective clinical questions, participants explore how organ inventory, hormone use, gender affirmation goals, and lived experiences shape peri- and menopause care across diverse bodies and identities. Learners gain actionable strategies for integrating menopause therapies with gender-affirming hormones, implementing inclusive documentation practices, and creating more welcoming clinical environments.
