About the National Infusion Center Association

The National Infusion Center Association (NICA) is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to advancing safe, high-quality, and accessible infusion care across the United States. As the nation’s leading voice for non-hospital, community-based infusion providers, NICA works to ensure that patients can access life-changing biologic and specialty medications in settings that are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.

Through advocacy, education, accreditation, and industry collaboration, NICA supports infusion providers in navigating a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. The organization brings together providers, healthcare leaders, policymakers, and industry partners to address challenges that impact access to treatment and the long-term sustainability of infusion services.

NICA is committed to promoting excellence in outpatient infusion care by developing standards, sharing best practices, and championing policies that protect both providers and the patients they serve. By fostering collaboration and driving meaningful change, NICA helps create a future where high-quality infusion care remains accessible to communities nationwide.

How Pinnacle Supported NICA Through Joint Providership

Through a joint providership partnership, Learn at Pinnacle provided the accreditation expertise and compliance infrastructure needed to offer continuing education credit for the NICA 2026 Annual Conference. Learn at Pinnacle worked alongside the National Infusion Center Association to ensure the educational activity met applicable accreditation standards while maintaining the independence and integrity of the learning experience.

The Learn at Pinnacle team managed critical accreditation requirements, including disclosure and conflict-of-interest review, content compliance oversight, activity planning documentation, credit designation, learner evaluations, certificate generation, and reporting to accrediting organizations. By overseeing the regulatory and administrative framework, Learn at Pinnacle enabled NICA to focus on delivering high-quality educational programming and industry engagement while ensuring learners could earn accredited CE/CME credit.

This collaborative model streamlined the accreditation process and provided a comprehensive solution without requiring NICA to build and maintain its own accreditation infrastructure.
