About Integrative MD, Inc
Dr. Melinda Ring is a nationally recognized physician, educator, author, and leader in integrative women’s health. For nearly three decades, she has worked to help women better understand their health and access care that is grounded in evidence, attentive to the whole person, and responsive to their lived experience.
As Executive Director of the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Northwestern University and the Tina Trott Professor of Integrative Health, Dr. Ring brings together clinical care, research, and medical education to advance a more comprehensive approach to health and well-being. Her work has been especially shaped by the experiences of women in midlife who have felt dismissed, confused, or underserved by traditional healthcare models.
At the heart of Dr. Ring’s mission is a simple belief: women deserve clear information, meaningful options, and respect. Through her clinical work, teaching, writing, and advocacy, she helps both women and healthcare professionals navigate complex health questions with greater confidence, clarity, and compassion.
About the Integrative Menopause in Practice Course
Integrative Menopause in Practice is a six-session live continuing education program led by Melinda Ring, MD, designed to help healthcare professionals bring evidence-based, whole-person menopause care into everyday clinical practice.
Moving beyond a hormone-only approach, the program explores the full clinical picture of midlife health—including hormone therapy, integrative treatment options, stress and sleep, mood, metabolism, thyroid health, bone and cardiovascular risk, supplements, and functional testing. Each session is organized around the real questions clinicians encounter in practice, with an emphasis on distinguishing interventions that are supported by evidence from those that may add unnecessary cost or complexity.
Participants will gain practical frameworks for caring for patients who cannot or choose not to use hormone therapy, remain symptomatic despite treatment, or arrive with complex supplement and testing regimens. Clinical tools, decision frameworks, testing algorithms, communication resources, and other practice-ready materials are designed to support immediate application in patient care.
By integrating conventional, functional, and lifestyle medicine perspectives with clinical rigor, Integrative Menopause in Practice equips healthcare professionals to navigate midlife care with greater clarity, confidence, and individualized support for their patients.
How Pinnacle Supported Integrative MD, Inc Through Joint Providership
Learn at Pinnacle partnered with Dr. Melinda Ring through its joint providership model to bring accredited continuing education to her clinician training without requiring her team to build or manage the infrastructure of an independent CE program.
Pinnacle provided the compliance framework needed to support the activity across multiple healthcare professions, including oversight of disclosures and conflicts of interest, content review for independence and balance, accreditation documentation, and learner eligibility requirements. The Pinnacle team also managed the Activity Detail Page, certificate generation, required reporting to accrediting bodies, and post-activity evaluation processes.
By handling the administrative and regulatory complexity behind the scenes, Learn at Pinnacle allowed Dr. Ring and her team to remain focused on delivering high-quality clinical education while giving participating healthcare professionals a streamlined path to earning CE/CME credit.
