About GYOEDU
GYOEDU is an educational community founded in 2020 with a mission to advance inclusive, practical learning in gynecologic oncology. Through case-based, evidence-informed education, GYOEDU supports the entire gynecologic oncology care team—physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, residents, and fellows—in building confidence, strengthening collaboration, and delivering high-quality care for women with gynecologic cancers.
About the Clinical Gynecologic Oncology – Case-Based Course Series
The Clinical Gynecologic Oncology – Case-Based Course Series is a practical, case-based educational experience designed to equip the interprofessional gynecologic oncology team with evidence-informed strategies for day-to-day patient care. Developed for nurses, advanced practice providers, residents, fellows, and practicing gynecologic oncologists, this enduring activity bridges the gap between textbook knowledge and real-world clinical decision-making.
Through self-paced, clinically grounded modules, learners gain practical guidance in recognizing and managing treatment-related toxicities, interpreting pathology and molecular classification, applying FIGO 2023 staging, and supporting patients through perioperative care, fertility preservation, menopause management, and survivorship.
What makes this series especially impactful is its focus on translating rapidly evolving evidence into actionable bedside care. By using realistic clinical scenarios and guideline-informed frameworks, the course supports both foundational onboarding and ongoing professional development—helping healthcare teams strengthen collaboration, improve consistency in care, and build confidence in managing complex gynecologic oncology cases.
