Tiffany Moon, MD

Pinnacle Faculty

Anesthesiologist, Researcher, Innovator

Dr. Tiffany Moon is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT‑Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors as well as a Distinction in Research. She completed her residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Her research interests include obesity, thoracic anesthesia, pain perception under general anesthesia, difficult airways, and neuromuscular blockade and reversal.

Dr. Tiffany Moon has built a public life that extends far beyond the operating room. She first came to national attention as a cast member of The Real Housewives of Dallas, using reality television as a way to challenge stereotypes and show that a physician could also be a multidimensional woman, balancing career, family, and personal passions. The experience, which she later reflected on in her 2025 memoir Joy Prescriptions, pushed her to find her voice, confront conflict, and embrace authenticity.

Her entrepreneurial side grew out of both creativity and circumstance. During the pandemic, she began pouring candles as gifts for frontline workers, a gesture that soon blossomed into Aromasthesia, her own therapeutic candle line. She later expanded her ventures with Three Moons Wine, inspired by her and her husband’s love of Napa Valley, and LeadHer Summit, a leadership and empowerment event for women across industries.
