Suzanna Chatterjee-Morris

A board certified obstetrician-gynecologist pursuing expanding her career into both aesthetic and obesity medicine, Dr. Suzanna Chatterjee-Morris has been no stranger to jumping hurdles in life from a young age. Having lost her father as a senior in college, her academics suffered and she was faced with the option of pursuing her passion for medicine by attending medical school in Poland or spend several years pursuing other degrees in the United States.

She took the leap and as a foreign medical graduate, graduated in the top 5 of her class and matched to a surgical specialty despite the odds. No sooner than she began her career as an obgyn, she was faced with that career coming to a screeching halt as she was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. After being told she would never deliver a baby again and doing minimal gynecologic office visits, she was afforded the opportunity to seek a second opinion and began treatment for this disease. Since that point, she hasn’t skipped a beat and has run circles around most.

She stays incredibly busy with a medical spa business, her own private practice she opened in 2021 after being disheartened by corporate medicine and the obstacles to taking care of patients the way they should be cared for, covering labor and delivery at multiple hospitals around the state, and serving as a mentor and teacher to students in all sectors of healthcare. Most recently, she has struggled with infertility while helping her own patients with the same struggles. When not working as a physician, she enjoys traveling, cooking, craft and DIY projects, planning events and serving her community as her Rotary Club President.

If there is one thing that she could do though sharing her story and journey it would be to provide hope and encouragement that you can do anything you set your mind to.
