Dr. Danielle Maltby has been a practicing Registered Nurse for 18 years. After nearly 12 years as a NICU nurse, she transitioned away from bedside care to explore new avenues of connection and impact within healthcare. During this time, she leaned into social media and co-founded “The WoMed,” one of the first healthcare podcasts dedicated to empowering women in medicine.
Currently based in Chicago, she works as an aesthetic nurse injector at Fulcrum Aesthetics, where she takes a multifaceted approach to skincare and aesthetic treatments—ensuring every patient feels safe, informed, and confident in their decisions.
Beyond her clinical work, she is a proud LGBTQIA+ and mental health advocate, passionate about creating a more compassionate and inclusive world both inside and outside of healthcare.
