Elana Miller, MD is a board‑certified psychiatrist, writer, teacher, and founder of Zen Psychiatry, based in Los Angeles, California. She integrates Western medicine with Eastern philosophy and holistic approaches to help individuals overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD and live fuller, more meaningful lives. Dr. Miller holds a B.A. in Psychology from Harvard University, earned her medical degree from the USC Keck School of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, and completed her psychiatry residency at UCLA, where she was recognized as an Exceptional Physician and served as chief resident of the psychotherapy program. A cancer survivor, she brings personal resilience and compassion into her work and writing, celebrating the power of love, meaning, and human spirit in healing.
