About My Gender IQ
My Gender IQ is an integrative psychiatry practice built on the belief that psychiatry is both science and soul.Founded by trans-identified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and clinical social worker Jess Romeo (he/they), My Gender IQ was created as a sanctuary for compassionate, inclusive, and truly holistic mental health care.
As a queer-owned and operated practice, My Gender IQ is rooted in the values of dignity, authenticity, and connection. Its clinicians blend evidence-based psychiatric medicine with deep respect for the human spirit—meeting patients where they are and honoring every aspect of their journey toward healing.
The team, comprised of dedicated and affirming providers, specializes in integrative, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming care for diverse communities, with a special focus on supporting women and LGBTQIA+ individuals across the lifespan.
At IMy Gender IQ, care goes beyond symptom management—it’s about nurturing wholeness, addressing the root causes of suffering, and helping every patient reclaim their well-being with compassion, curiosity, and empowerment.
About My Gender IQ CME Courses
The Institute for Gender Affirming Care Mastery empowers healthcare professionals to move beyond good intentions and into grounded, affirming practice. Led by Jess Romeo, PMHNP, LCSW (he/they)—a trans-identified clinician and educator—this accredited program helps providers develop the clarity, courage, and compassion needed to deliver truly inclusive care.
Rooted in both Western medicine and holistic, trauma-informed frameworks, the course bridges clinical expertise with cultural humility and self-reflection. Participants learn to recognize bias, unlearn limiting assumptions, and integrate affirming practices that honor the complexity, resilience, and humanity of queer and trans lives.
Through evidence-based guidance and community-centered learning, the Institute helps practitioners cultivate not only skill but conscience—building safer, more equitable spaces for every patient they serve.
How Pinnacle Supported My Gender IQ Through Joint Providership
Learn at Pinnacle partnered with My Gender IQ to provide seamless CE/CME accreditation through joint providership. Drawing on extensive expertise in accreditation, Learn at Pinnacle managed the full compliance and operational framework required for accredited learning. This included reviewing content for bias, overseeing disclosures and conflicts of interest, ensuring commercial support standards, creating the Activity Detail Page, handling all accreditation paperwork, and verifying credit eligibility across ACCME, ANCC, ACPE, and other accrediting bodies.
Additionally, Learn at Pinnacle facilitated certificate generation, reporting to accrediting bodies, and post-activity evaluation analysis. By managing these critical compliance and administrative responsibilities, Learn at Pinnacle enabled My Gender IQ to focus entirely on delivering high-quality, inclusive educational content.
Through this partnership model, accreditation became faster, more flexible, and far less resource-intensive than pursuing independent accreditation. With Learn at Pinnacle’s guidance, My Gender IQ successfully delivered a fully accredited, compliant learning experience that allowed participants to earn CE/CME credit while ensuring every regulatory and compliance detail was meticulously managed.
